Bhagavad Gita 6.29 — The Yogi of Equal Vision Sees the Self and the Supreme in All Beings
सर्वभूतस्थमात्मानं सर्वभूतानि चात्मनि।
ईक्षते योगयुक्तात्मा सर्वत्र समदर्शनः॥ ६.२९॥
The yogi established in yoga sees the same Self present in all living beings and all living beings existing in the Self. Such a yogi perceives the one Divine Reality equally everywhere.

Detailed Meaning
Introduction
In this verse, Lord Krishna describes the universal vision of the perfected yogi, who sees the same Divine presence equally in all beings and all beings existing within the Divine.
Essence
Lord Krishna's Profound Vision of Oneness
Having attained inner realization, the yogi's perception undergoes a complete transformation. Instead of seeing only external differences, the yogi begins to recognize the one Divine Reality present everywhere.
Sarva-bhūta-stham ātmānam (seeing the Self in all beings): The perfected yogi recognizes that the same spiritual essence exists in every living being. Although bodies, personalities, and circumstances differ, the underlying consciousness is one.
Sarva-bhūtāni cātmani (seeing all beings in the Self): At the same time, the yogi realizes that all living beings exist within the one Supreme Reality. This vision dissolves the false sense of separation and reveals the unity underlying all existence.
Sama-darśanaḥ (equal vision): Equal vision does not mean treating every situation identically or ignoring practical differences. Rather, it means recognizing the equal spiritual worth and Divine nature of every living being, regardless of outward distinctions.
This realization naturally gives rise to compassion, humility, and universal goodwill because the yogi no longer sees others as separate from themselves.

Look beyond outward differences: We often judge people by their appearance, social position, beliefs, or behavior. The Gita invites us to see the deeper spiritual reality that unites everyone.
